will begin pre-kindergarten or kindergarten for the first time
DON’T apply if:
You do not need to apply if your student will remain at their current school or will attend the neighborhood school assigned to the student’s address.
If this is the case, directly contact the school to re-enroll your student.

To apply to a public charter school, complete ONE application through ENROLL OKC. On the application, you will select the schools you desire for your child, and then prioritize them in the order of your preference.

To complete an application, you will need the following information:
The child’s:
Name
Date of birth
Current school and grade
Application grade
Sibling information, if applicable
Basic information about your family:
Legal guardian’s first and last name
Contact information, including guardian's home address
Phone number
Email
To establish proof of residency in Oklahoma City, you need to:
Gather the following documents from the list below:
One proof of residency (recent utility bill, lease agreement)
Immunization records
Up-to-date custody documentation, if applicable
In addition, follow your school’s requested enrollment requirements.
Deadlines and Timelines:
All public charter schools are opening their applications for the 2026-2027 school year on December 1, 2025.
The priority application deadline is February 13, 2026.
Charter school lotteries take place on February 20, 2026.
Families will be notified of acceptance or waitlisted status at their school of choice the week of February 23, 2026.
Enrollment deadlines are set by each school. Make sure to enroll your child by that date, to secure their seat at your choice school.
Waitlists are created at charter schools with more applications for a grade than seats. Notification of openings, if any, is ongoing until school starts in 2026.
